7.6.2 - GENERATE PASSWORDS
USAGE: To set an initial password
for every Debtor on the system.
DISCUSSION: When HiFinance sends out information
to web pages, there are often sensitive fields included. With this is mind, web
pages normally require a password. HiFinance can store and pass these passwords
to the web system. However, it is necessary to initialise the file, and it is
also prudent to create new passwords for everyone on a regular basis.
The
current pattern is to create a six character password. This consists of three
alpha characters and three numeric. Only upper case is used. The pattern is
random and writes to every Debtors on the system. Once you have started the
process there is no return.
