SECTION 3.5.4S.4 - DELETE A SERVICE/WARRANTY/JOB
USAGE: Delete a Job record from
the Job master-file.
DISCUSSION: Care should be taken when
deleting a Job as no checks are made as to whether this account is required in
other part of HiFinance. HiFinance will check that an Inventory item and/or
Debtor cannot be removed, if there is a Job attached, so if you wish to delete
an Inventory Item, and it has Jobs attached, the only way is to delete all the Job
records, first.
When you start the delete program, the computer will
initially ask for a Job Number. Insert the code and press <Enter>.
To return to the SERVICE/WARRANTY/JOB, press <ESC>.
To search for an account, press <F9>. For further details on searches, see SECTION 1.2.
Having entered a valid code, the computer will
display the current information pertaining to that account. If you confirm that
you wish to delete the record, HiFinance will permanently delete the record
from the Job master-file.
