Access-Lite is our simple accounting system for small businesses.
Access-Lite is a no-fuss, time-proven, balance-forward based system. For new comers to the world of computer accounting, a balance-forward design is easier to handle and understand.

Access-Lite comes complete with Debtors (including invoicing, etc.), Creditors, Inventory and General Ledger. The system is fully real-time and integrated so all files are updated as the transaction is entered. Single and multi-user versions are available.
Access-Lite is often used as an inexpensive base product for building specialised accounting products. We have extensions to this product for businesses as diverse as: butchers, brothels, electricians and fencing contractors.

As the original authors of Total Business Accounting, we offer a free upgrade service when you purchase Access-Lite. This offer is extended to both Version 1 and 2 of T.B.A.
Total Business Accounting (having been written over 10 years ago) was never designed to be Year 2000 aware.
Nor was version 1 a multi-user system. However, there were about 1000 copies of T.B.A. sold over the years.
Both version 1 and 2 suffer from a language fault that leaves them unable to read the system date beyond December 1999.
Also, T.B.A. 2 archiving will not delete or report transactions correctly over the 2000 transition.
Neither version will handle GST correctly. Access-Lite suffers from none of these errors and restrictions.
If you were worried that you would have to re-enter all your data and re-learn an interface, Access-Lite is you best solution.
There is minimal retraining required and all data can be directly converted to the new programs.
Local upgrades can normally be organised overnight, interstate upgrades can be organised as quick as transport allows. We also offer an internet upgrade via ftp.
